The International Social Action Film Festival invites you to register and host a House Party/ Salon Venue starting on February 20, 2009 and become part of a worldwide movement to bring recognition to local Social Action Organizations operating around the world. As an official House Party/Salon Venue, you will receive access to a 3.5-hour segment of local and international films that will be screening at official ISAFF venue sites around the globe. Our sites are located on five continents. However, in order to host an ISAFF House Party/Salon Party, you must reside at least 30 miles from an official ISAFF venue. If you are interested, we ask you to register as a host. The donation for individuals hosting this event is $15.00 + $10.00 handling and shipping fee for the DVD (total $25.00) US. The donation for Non-Profit Organizations hosting the event is $25.00 + $10.00 US for handling and shipping. No admission may be charged for these screenings
Prior to your gathering, we will provide you with an access code to the films and/or a DVD of the three-hour segment together with discussion questions for your guests to engage in a dialogue about social action in your community. In advance of that, we will send you a branded email invitation to send to your friends and colleagues to attend your party.
